2018 Employee Recommended Workplace!
The Municipality of the County of Cumberland has been recognized as a 2018 Employee Recommended Workplace!
The Employee Recommended Workplace Award is newly established by The Globe and Mail and Morneau Shepell. This designation applauds companies and organizations that make the health and wellness of their staff a priority and recognizes excellence in achieving a healthy, engaged and productive workforce. It is the only award of its kind that is based entirely on feedback from employees.
To receive this designation, all staff at the Municipality were asked in December 2017 to participate in a survey by Morneau Shepell and answer questions about the Municipality’s priorities and values concerning the health and wellbeing of our staff. After a detailed review of our employee feedback, it was confirmed that the Municipality qualified for this prominent designation. With this designation, the Municipality will now use the Employee Recommended Workplace badge of distinction on our website, job postings, marketing, and public relations materials.
The Municipality will also be recognized as an Employee Recommended Workplace at the Award Ceremony taking place on March 20, 2018 in Toronto. The winners will also be announced in a special newspaper report on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 and will be posted online.
