Oxford Sinkhole Update
In late July, a small hole opened up in the park area of the Oxford Lions Club. Emergency management operations are a shared service between the Municipality of Cumberland and the towns of Oxford and Amherst.
Pugwash Multipurpose Centre Summary
The Pugwash Multipurpose Centre is one of the components of the Pugwash Waterfront Development project. Over the past several years, the Municipality has worked with the Pugwash Village Commission, Cumberland Public Libraries, the Pugwash Multipurpose Centre Steering Committee, the Pugwash Waterfront Development Steering Committee, the community at large, and consultants to define the necessary spaces to be housed within the building and the general layout of the space.
