A consulting team lead by RC Strategies has been retained by the Municipality of Cumberland County to help develop the new Active Living and Recreation Strategy.
This plan will guide future priorities to support healthy and active living, throughout Cumberland, for the next 10 years.
Upcoming sessions include Thursday, May 2, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Wentworth Learning Centre (13371 Highway 4, Wentworth) and Tuesday, May 7, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the River Hebert-Joggins & Area Development Association (1808 Highway 242, River Hebert).
Meetings have already been held in Parrsboro, Springhill and Pugwash.
An important input to the development of the strategy is engagement with community members to discuss their needs to be physically and socially active.
Your participation in this engagement opportunity is valuable to us and the future of active living and recreation in Cumberland.
We hope you will join us to express your thoughts and need at one of the following in-person engagement sessions with RC Strategy representatives.
Should you have any questions prior to the sessions, please reach out to Carolyn @
