Cumberland Municipal Council passed a motion to accept the recommendation of the Audit Committee and approve the Consolidated Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2026.
At a meeting of the Audit Committee held on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, the Municipality’s Consolidated Financial Statements were presented by Cindy Costin-Fury of McIsaac Darragh Inc. and the Director of Finance, Aimee Hirtle for the fiscal year ending March 31.
The statements were prepared by Town staff and audited by the firm McIsaac Darragh Inc.
There were operating surpluses in both the general and water operating funds and reserve levels remain strong.
The financial statements show that the Municipality of the County of Cumberland is in good financial condition.
