The Municipality of Cumberland is considering a proposal from Sunset Community Incorporated to transfer 3 parcels of municipally owned land to Sunset Community Inc. for nominal consideration.
The subject parcels are:
• PID 25515941 – Sunset Court, South Pugwash (Assessed value $29,400)
• PID 25150244 - 2846 Crowley Road, Pugwash (Assessed value $329,200)
• PID 25149923 - 140 Sunset Lane, South Pugwash (Assessed value $3,494,900)
The purpose of the transfer is to support Sunset Community Inc. in its request to move forward as an autonomous organization.
In accordance with Section 51 of the Municipal Government Act, a Public Hearing will be held at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 in Council Chambers at the Upper Nappan Service Centre, 1395 Blair Lake Road, Upper Nappan to allow members of the public to express their views on the proposal.
