October 15-21 is IODE Awareness Week in the Municipality of Cumberland

Municipality of Cumberland Mayor Murray Scott signs a proclamation declaring the week of Oct. 15 to 21, 2023, as IODE Awareness Week within the Municipality of Cumberland. The Cobequid Chapter of the IODE is one of three chapters in Cumberland County. It received its charter in August 1916 and for the past 107 years has been very active in the community supporting children, feeding the hungry, comforting the lonely, greening the community and fundraising for various charitable causes. Municipality of Cumberland Mayor Murray Scott has signed a proclamation declaring the week of Oct. 15 to 21, 2023, as IODE Awareness Week within the Municipality of Cumberland.
